Thankful for...

a warm house to live in...since it's freeeeezing here.

my incredible husband who loves me.

the much needed break from school coming up next week(and teachers who cancel class even though they aren't supposed to)!

a job that I love, even though sometimes I complain.

the influence of the gospel in my life.

and then some not so serious things like pumpkin pie and cocoa bean cupcakes. :)


Just a few more days of school and then a lovely break! We are excited to be able to hang out with our family and not even think about homework! Maybe we can catch up on all the tv shows everyone has been talking about. I'm just hoping to do some of the things on my "pinterest craft" list! I'm sure Trav is so excited about that! :)

Thankful.

I just saw Court's post about writing something you are thankful for every day in November. I love it and I'm stealing it! :)

Getting a late start since it's already the 11th but oh well!

Today I'm thankful for all the veterans in the world. I love being in school today because everyone is talking about it and I've already seen some people walking around in their fancy blues. I'm so grateful that I live in America! I'm grateful for all the men and women who lay down their lives to help and serve others.

While browsing the blog of a sister in law of mine I noticed shamefully that I have not blogged in over three months. Right there in that little sidebar was my name followed by a huge flashing light...why do you even have a blog? So maybe there weren't any flashing lights and maybe no one really cared that I have taken a little vacation from putting my thoughts on the internet.

Since I've been gone a few things have happened.

Travis got an internship at the site..also known as the INL. He'll be working there all summer and we are so glad we get to stay here at least until we graduate!

We (but mostly trav) figured out my schedule for the remainder of my college experience and I am super excited to get done with school! Only three semesters left! Yes.

I went snowboarding/skiing every Monday all winter and had a blast! Brought back the good ole ski bum days.

We teach primary now and are totally in love with our kids. They just crack us up every week.

Trav shaved his mustache!! It kills me. I am not changing my blog name though!

Well that pretty much sums up the last three months. Haha. I guess now you know why I wasn't blogging. Super eventful life we have, right?

It's finals week which means I have a cold. Every. semester. It's so annoying! Ugh! I only have a few finals left though so that's something. The end is in sight!

Growing Up and Making Decisions.

Well I have officially decided to change up my blog. Since I'm married now and it's not just about me. Haha. I have some really fun ideas but I know nothing about html so we'll see how it works out. :) Stay tuned!

Follow Through.

Remember when I started this thirty day thing and then somewhere around day eight I totally stopped? Well instead of catching up on all the posts I have missed I'm just going to begin where I left off. 

So...Day Nine. Something you're proud of in the last few days.

This is a tough one? I think something I'm proud of is getting good grades this semester. This isn't exactly in the last few days but I am definitely proud of it. It's been a lot of work and studying and it's paying off. :)

Today I Learned...

Getting your wisdom teeth out and then soon after getting a cold is not a good idea. 

Sneezing is painful.
